Artisan Certificate – the level of courses that produce skilled workers in specific trades (artisans) - KNEC
Craft Certificate – the level of post school courses that produce skilled technicians (craftsmen) - KNEC
Craft certificate courses are technical courses offered in various technical colleges in Kenya these courses empower young people with technical skills that make them more employable or innovative to launch their own businesses.
Minimum General Admission Requirements for craft certificate courses in Kenya is Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education, (KCSE) mean grade D (plain) and above.
Craft level certificate courses are available in Kenya at a variety of technical schools, including vocational training centers and technical vocational education and training (TVET) institutes located throughout the country. The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) and the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), among others, examine these craft certificate courses.
