Digital literacy means having the skills you need to live, learn, and work in a society where communication and access to information is increasingly through digital technologies like internet platforms, social media, and mobile devices. This is a hands-on course for dealing with personal computers in a wide variety of settings. Topics include: basic computer concepts, computer hardware, operating systems, the Internet, online safety and security, email, computer applications including word processors, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, databases, the social media and the impact of computers on society.
